NANOTECHCENTER (www.ntc.co.ua) is new start-up company (since Oct. 2014) of the Institute for Problems of Materials Science (IPMS), led by Prof. A Ragulya. This small start-up company commercializes the developed technologies of oxide and non-oxide nanoparticles manufacture, ceramic parts and components based on them. It enjoys unlimited access to the equipment and infrastructure of IPMS in addition to having its own pilot line for the NMs PRODUCTION. Solutions team includes 2 Profs and 3 PhD holders and 4 linked to the team ESRs- MSc specialists and a number of research students jointly supervised with IPMS. The work area is 130 m sq. in four rooms. Facilities: Center is equipped with rotary tube furnaces for large-scale synthesis of nanopowders from unstable precursors. Several reactors for manufacturing of carbon onions. Experimental reactors. The company has an access to other equipment at IPMS, for instance ASAP2000 system for characterization of the specific surface area and mesoporous structure |
